Maximus Jefferies 

Max has been a committed member of the Ultimate 7s (UR7s) for 5 years. UR7s offers young players a premier pathway into elite rugby sevens, featuring expert coaching from experienced international players and a holistic development approach for both on-field skills and off-field growth. It provides unique opportunities like summer residentials, high-performance training, and specialised mentoring to prepare players for, and beyond, the sport. 

At club level, he has represented Kingsbridge RFC and, latterly, North Dorset RFC skippering his colts team while also being called up to play for the senior 1st and 2nd XVs teams. 

Max has been immersed in high-level sport from an early age, growing up in a family where performance, commitment, and rugby excellence are simply part of everyday life. His mother competed at an elite level, representing Reading RFC Women, Henley RFC Women, and England Ladies B, and continues to support the game through the rugby charity Wooden Spoon. His father progressed through every level at Clifton RFC (National 2) from Minis to 1st XV and Veterans, with career highlights including winning National 2 with Camberley RFC and representing the British Army. 

Max's two siblings are equally committed to the sport. Both represent North Dorset RFC, with Arthur selected for the Bath Rugby Academy U15 programme. His younger sister is currently playing county rugby and cricket while schooling at Clifton College in a performance-driven environment influenced by former England international Danny Grewcock. 

Currently living in Brisbane, looking for a club to play and work for he has a 1-year working visa and has been working on farms for many years. He has tractor (420 hp) and trailer (20T) experience with implements that are 12 m wide. He has also been known to pull a few pints at his father bar.
